With the huge variety of moisturisers available in Indian market these days , finding a good moisturiser that suits your acne prone skin is not an easy task especially when your acne prone skin is more towards highly reactive /sensitive side. Any type of sensitive skin whether it's acne prone or dry comes along with several complexities making it the  most toughest skin out there to manage .we can't even  blindly trust  on the products labelled  " for sensitive skin" or " hypoallergenic" or "calming or soothing moisturiser".even the most disheartening and  disappointing truth of Indian dermatologists is that despite of being specialist in their field they don't even get bothered about the pore clogging harmful ingredients present in their own recommended products. In this case putting a glimpse  on  the back of a product's package(i.e ingredients list) and listening to your own trial and error experience would be a clever choice .it's all about being  simple and what suits you the best as far as any skin care product is concerned .being a skin care editor and a sensitive skin sufferer,I  myself   have  tried lots of moisturizer, but none of them seemed to work .finally after lots of trial and errors I zerored upon a moisturizer named "ACMiST moisturizing creamy gel"  which has now become   my holy grail product in my  daily skin care routine.

Acmist Moisturising Gel is a quick absorbing formulation  moisturizer  manufactured by "Brinton pharmaceuticals Pvt ltd."  is actually " oil  free "and "non comedogenic" ,also  suitable for every skin types especially  for hyper sensitive acne prone  skin.  It contains aloe Vera extract ,squalane, bisabolol ,trehalose and vit e as the main ingredients that  not only keep skin hydrated and moisturized  but also calms and soothes the already  compromised and irritated skin . The texture of this cream is very light more towards a cream gel kind of consistency which gets absorbed in secs without making your skin feel greasy or oily ,hence making it  highly  suitable for  oily skin individuals as well .

Cutting the long story short, let's have a look on pros and cons of ACMiST gel:-

  • The quick absorbing formulation ensures that the gel does not feel sticky on the skin
  • It is helpful in treating acne and also in preventing generation of new pimples and zits
  • It is non-comedogenic, thus ideal for every skin types .

However the cream doesn't itself claims to be fragrance free, but after analysing all the ingredients and by my personal experience of using it for several months now I can definitely say that the sweet non bothering fragrance added in it is not going to bothered your skin  anyway .also if you read the ingredients carefully it has been highlighted the fragrance to be allergen free.

The gel helps in softening dry skin.
Lastly It is also sulphate ,mineral oil ,silicone and paraben free product.

So whatt else do we need in a perfect moisturizer to add in our daily skin care regime .give it a try and thank me later if you are among those who have tried out every other moisturizer and failed every time to heal your sensitive skin. !!
